The start of something beautiful...

It happened! We had purchased a potty bench a week ago after finding out that Mason had been following his older preschool buddies into the bathroom and pretending like he was potty training too. As soon as we put the potty bench down he thought it was awesome - there's storage for books, tp, wipes, etc.

This morning he looked at me and grunted a little, I asked if he wanted to use his potty and he ran right to it, ripped off his pjs, sat down and stood right back up only to point at a magazine. I handed him a magazine thinking that maybe he had been hanging out with his daddy a little too much...he sat right back down, grunted a few times and got up to leave. At first I thought he had just duped me and he had just wanted to pretend to use the potty...nope - I checked and there it was #1 & 2!

I was so proud of my little man - I even took a photo that really only a mom could love. However, he was just as proud of himself - in fact he came back, pointed and started clapping for himself. It was a great morning!
