2013. Whew...sadly, this blog has been very empty for the past year and one of my resolutions for 2013 is to get it up and going again. Although we do a yearly Shutterfly book and I feel like Facebook has some semblance of a yearly history...I would love to be able to pull this up in the decades to follow and see these years in more detail :)
Things we would like to do in 2013 & beyond:
I feel like if we write these goals down, they somehow become more concrete and feasible...so...
- Although, we have been in constant house renovation mode...we would like to finally "finish" all of that up so we can just enjoy our almost-100-year-old house for the next year or two before we start thinking about our next home.
- Trying out Dave Ramsey's budgeting techniques...big goals of paying off all of Aaron's student loans in the next two years.
- Aaron: Continue strength training, so his knees will be in amazing shape for the years to follow and we can avoid a knee replacement until he is AT LEAST 60 :). Aaron tore his ACL & meniscus for the second time and had it replaced again this past year. He has gone through extensive rehab and PT...but has not received the all-clear for ski season yet.
- Kathleen: Continue cycling and yogaing and give some real time to organizing/crafting. I know not everyone out there likes to have their spices in alphabetical order, or their closets in color/type order...or has a love of label makers - BUT I do and I feel like when everything is in order, easily found and easily returned I have much more time to do the one thing I really love - spending time with Mason and Aaron.
- Mason: He decided that in this next year he would like to visit Santa again and grow. Two very good and obtainable goals for a very silly three year old.
Happy New Year all!!!
